This webinar by Paul Hergenrother (Department of Chemistry and the Institute for Genomic Biology University of Illinois, US) will detail his research group’s efforts to understand compound accumulation in the Gram-negative ESKAPE pathogens. Emphasis will be placed on the practicality, actionability, and translatability of this information, specifically, the use of accumulation rules to convert high-value Gram-positive-only compounds into antibiotics with activity against key Gram-negative pathogens.
