Trudy Grossman, PhD

Trudy joins CARB-X with over 30 years of antimicrobial drug discovery experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Her experience includes designing assays, formulating lead development strategies, and leading preclinical programs for small molecules, natural products, and microbiome-based live biotherapeutic products. Trudy has led research and project teams supporting aggressive programs from early screening hit discovery to late-stage clinical development. Trudy received her PhD in Molecular Genetics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY and did her postdoctoral training at Lederle Laboratories in NY, before launching into a research career in biotech in the Boston area.
