Associate Director, Financial Systems & Reporting

Tina Mercado, BS, MBA, joins CARB-X following 5 years of service at Harvard University in grants management, first at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, and later at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH). At HSPH, she managed a robust research funding portfolio, which included two grant-giving programs: an NIH P30 for Aging research, and a Gates Foundation-funded center on the Value of Vaccination. Prior to Harvard, she held financial and strategic roles at various international nonprofits. She holds an advanced degree focused in nonprofit management.
