She is a seasoned finance executive with expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and strategic financial planning within organizations supported by diverse funding sources. Her career reflects a strong focus on financial stewardship, governance, and disciplined resource allocation.
Throughout her career, Lauren has partnered closely with executive leadership and boards to strengthen financial frameworks and proactively identify and mitigate operational risk. She is known for translating complex financial information into clear, decision-ready insights that support effective governance and strategic execution. Prior to joining CARB-X, Lauren held senior finance roles across the nonprofit and corporate sectors, including CFO, VP of Finance and Operations, and Controller positions supporting US based, multi-million-dollar organizations.
