Kemi Akinfeleye is an HR professional with over 15 years of experience helping organizations develop their people and build stronger workplaces. She’s built HR functions from the ground up — designing and implementing the policies, systems, and practices that give organizations a solid people foundation. Her career has spanned the international development, healthcare, education, non-profit, and telecommunications sectors, with key roles at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Howard University, International Development Group, and Intelsat — where she has consistently turned HR vision into operational reality.
She holds an MBA in International Business, a B.S. in Human Resources Management, and a Women’s Leadership Certificate from the American Management Association’s Women’s Leadership Center. Kemi also holds a certification as a Situational Leadership Instructor and stays active in the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association for Talent Development. In 2022, she launched her own HR consulting firm, where she partners with organizations across industries to build and strengthen their HR functions — creating inclusive, high-performing workplaces where people can do their best work.
