Senior Research Chemist

Katie Lee is a Senior Research Chemist at The Broad Institute and the key liaison for collaborations on antibacterial programs between academic labs and the institute. Dr. Lee began her professional career as an industrial medicinal chemist at Neurogen, Connecticut, and moved on to the forefront of translating innovative ideas in basic biology into anti-infective drug discovery programs at The New England Regional Center of Excellence and The Centers of Excellence for Translational Research at Harvard Medical School, before joining the Broad. She received her Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Wesleyan University followed by postdoctoral training at Yale University.
