Dr. Claudia Baumann joined the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in January 2020. She is responsible for pharmaceutical research and AMR in the Division for New Methods in Life Sciences – Biotechnology – Drug Development. From 2017 to 2019 she was working as a scientific consultant at the VDI/VDE-IT Project Management Agency, supporting the Global Health Division of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research focussing on drug development and infectious diseases. After having earned her MSc in Biomedicine with a focus on Stem Cell Biology, she completed a PhD in Immunology at the Charité Universitätsmedizin and the Humboldt University in Berlin.
