DESCRIPTION:The Gordon Research Seminar on Antimicrobial Peptides is a unique forum for graduate students\, post-docs\, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. \nAntimicrobial Host Defense Peptides have been implicated in infection\, inflammation\, cancer and autoimmunity. As such\, the 2021 Gordon Research Seminar on Antimicrobial Peptides will focus on the biological function and mechanisms of action of these peptides in health and disease\, and how their properties can be exploited to provide therapeutic intervention. \nThis GRS will be held in conjunction with the “Antimicrobial Peptides” Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS.
