DESCRIPTION:The World Cancer Congress aims to strengthen the participants’ actions and impact on national\, regional and international scales through a multidisciplinary programme featuring the latest successful cancer prevention\, diagnosis\, treatment and care interventions. \nThe World Cancer Congress is an initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) –  which was recognised with Membership Engagement Award – and supports the organisation’s mission: ‘to both unite and support the cancer community in its efforts to reduce the global cancer burden\, promote greater equity and ensure that cancer control remains a priority on the global health and development agenda’. \nThe upcoming edition will however be hosted in UICC’s hometown\, Geneva in Switzerland\, on 17-19 September 2024\, at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG). UICC member organisations from across Europe will be joining in as co-hosts.
